Sadly, when we woke up in our tent, it was raining heavily. And we stayed in the camping site till noon, when we decided to move on even it still rained.

During this day, we took public transportations for the first time, as you could see from the Strava map — twice crossing the sea.
For the first time, we took the ferry, which is totally free for pedestrians and cyclists, and we were so surprised.

I also took some short videos to record the scenery as well as the infrastructure inside the ferry.
Such beautiful scenery despite the unpleasant weather!
The infrastructure was so impressive that it’s hard to believe the ferry was free.
There is also an interesting city called Kristiansund. It immediately struck me as a denser, more tightly-knit city than other places in Norway. With its long history, it’s definitely worth a visit. Unfortunately, we couldn’t stay very long due to bad weather and limited time. Here’s a link if you’re interested in learning more: Kristiansund.

From Kristiansund, we took a bus to pass through a tunnel under the sea, after which we settled near a shelter.

When we reached the shelter, we met a girl from Germany who was also cycling around Norway, traveling solo. Funny enough, even though our routes diverged and we assumed we would never cross paths again, we met her once more later on.
