Bike Tour in Norway (5)

On the last day of July, we passed through the famous scenic route — Atlanthavsvägen.

I also captured my ride across the famous Storseisund Bridge. But the record was not that good as I leaned too far forward while going down the bridge and the camera filmed only my bike instead of the scenery.

Honestly, from my point of view, the scenic route didn’t live up to its reputation. While it was undeniably beautiful and attracted many tourists, it was much like other scenic areas in Norway and not particularly unique. As cyclists, however, we were able to experience many stunning views during the whole trip that went unnoticed by most visitors.

For example, later this day I recorded this enjoyable one:

We cycled until evening to find a campsite to settle at. Before that, we stopped by a supermarket( https://maps.app.goo.gl/gyfqCRWNa48bcWy8A ) to get some food. I’d like to share a touching story here, to remember my good impression of Norwegians for their kindness and warm-heartedness. At that time, we were very hungry and just wanted some hot food to eat immediately. However, we couldn’t find any ready-to-eat hot food, only instant meals that required induction cookers. So we asked the staff for help. We were deeply moved when a kind girl offered to let us use the staff-only induction cooker. I can’t imagine what we would have done without her help.
