About Me

Hello! It’s great to see you.

My name is Shihao, and I’m from China. I’m currently a master’s student in Computer Science at Chalmers. I am passionate about bridging theory and practice to build reliable and efficient systems. My main interests include functional programming, programming language technologies, and graph-based data modeling.

While I’m optimistic about the potential of AI technologies, I’m especially focused on ensuring safety in all aspects through rigorous mathematical approaches. I have a broad range of interests and enjoy exchanging ideas with people from diverse backgrounds. I value collaboration and love learning from different perspectives to tackle complex technical challenges.

In my free time, I also host and maintain a server that provides various services for myself and a few friends. This WordPress blog is actually deployed on it. Though not professional, I keep learning to improve the using experience for my “clients”. If there is a suitable position available, I would be happy to give it a try.

Outside of work, I also have a few hobbies. I enjoying cooking desserts and dishes. Sometimes I even like to experiment, researching and creating new recipes that blend styles from different countries. I am also an amateur cyclist who loves traveling. My most recent trip was during the summer vacation, when I spent three weeks cycling in Norway, covering over 800 kilometers and challenging several mountain routes. I have been documenting the journey in posts on this blog, though the series is still being updated.
